CSF gives students opportunities for a variety of fun and rewarding community service events. If you like or need to complete community service and gaining some eye-openers while hanging out with your friends, join CSF!
The first Friday of every month at lunch in the main gym.
Yes! Freshman can join CSF as unofficial members in the first semester, and in the second semester as official members.
We don't go by specific GPA requirement. Instead, we use a point system to calculate your grades. Look at our application for more information!
Each member is required to complete 2 community service events with CSF. If you fail to do so, you will be put on probation until you complete them. Probation can only last for 1 semester, so if you fail to make up your events by the end of the school year, you can't be in CSF anymore ☹️. Members on probation cannot receive senior cords.
If you sign up for an event and you do not receive a confirmation email, a few possibilities are: the event's volunteer cap was filled and we could not take any more volunteers, the event was cancelled (a cancellation email would be sent out instead), or we just haven't sent one out yet (keep in mind, we're busy high schoolers too!)
To apply for the scholarship that CSF offers, you must complete the application form released in May every year. We will look at your responses to the questions, membership length, total number of hours completed, dedication to our club, and donations contributed. Only seniors are eligible to apply.
In order to receive a graduation cord, you must have been an official member of CSF for at least 4 semesters. At least 1 of the 4 semesters must be during your senior year. If you are a senior, you must have all of your events completed before April of the year you graduate.
Please do your best to maintain your commitments to CSF, but if a conflict occurs please let us know that you cannot attend a volunteer event by emailing info.tinocsf@gmail.com at least 72 hours before the event unless the confirmation email was sent later than at least 24 hours. Failure to do so will result in a strike.
